About Us
Dr Hollie Wilson
Founder and Director of ePsychologists
Driven to help people across the country who have alcohol and drug concerns, Hollie has been a registered psychologist for over 20 years, with substantial experience including clinical, academic/research and leadership of alcohol and other drug teams.
She combines her expertise with leadership of a national team of psychologists who share her commitment to compassionate care for anyone in the community experiencing issues with alcohol or drug use.
Our mission is to provide accessible, evidence-based psychological care for individuals and families affected by substance use, delivered through a secure and compassionate telehealth service.
We aim to become the leading provider of alcohol and drug psychology services in Australia.
Why did you start ePsychologists?
In the alcohol and drug field, people face enormous stigma. It is extraordinarily brave to reach out and seek support, and it takes significant time to do so, with most people never reaching out at all. Despite this, the demand for public services outweighs the capacity, with most having long wait lists or wait times – and this means that up to 70% of people who would benefit from treatment can’t access it.
Additionally, public services may not be preferred by everyone. There are few psychology services in Australia that are designed specifically to help and support people with alcohol and other drug issues and their families. We aim to bridge this gap by providing a discreet, non-judgemental and non-stigmatising service which allows you to truly heal in a space where your concerns are heard and understood.
Who is the service is for?
ePsychologists is for anyone in Australia with concerns about their own or someone else’s use of alcohol or other drugs.
At ePsychologists, we believe recovery is best supported through a balance of clinical expertise and human connection.
Our team of registered psychologists provides professional, evidence-based care for people affected by alcohol and other drug use, as well as for the families who support them.
Through secure telehealth sessions, we make quality psychological care accessible, wherever you live in Australia. Whether you’re seeking support for the first time or continuing your recovery journey, you’ll find a space that is confidential, respectful, and guided by current research in addiction and mental health treatment.
