  • No. Many of our clients are unsure where they fit or just want to understand their relationship with substances. Others have had a lapse and would like to reset or have stopped using and want to prevent relapse. Others just want to use substances more safely. We also provide support to families.

  • You will need to ensure that you have a private, comfortable, quiet space and good internet connectivity and a camera on your device.

To make the most out of your sessions, we send you questions before your appointment to help us prepare anything we need to support your specific circumstances.

  • You will be provided a link to the session and your psychologist will meet you at the agreed time.

The psychologist will have prepared for the session by reading any information you or your GP have sent through before the appointment.

We will then confirm this with you or get more information if needed, and you will tell us your story and goals and together you will go from there.

  • There is now significant research to demonstrate that telehealth and face to face are equally as effective.

Telehealth has additional benefits such as reducing barriers including transport, child care (etc).

  • Everyone progresses through therapy at a different pace. As you progress, you and your therapist will often get a sense of how often and how many sessions you will need.

Many people start on a weekly or twice-weekly basis and reduce as needed.

  • Sometimes people need someone to really listen, understand, and provide evidence-based strategies to help a loved one. This may include working on communication and boundaries, as well as strategies to support you to take care of yourself. We are highly experienced at supporting family members of people with alcohol and drug concerns.

  • If you have a mental health care plan we will provide required reports to your GP. Please contact us with any other specific requests for letters or reports.

These requests come at an additional cost.

  • Yes, our services are entirely online and delivered through a secure platform ensuring both privacy and flexibility.

    Key benefits:

    • Attend from your home or any private setting

    • Reduced travel, wait times, and scheduling barriers

    • Access psychologists with relevant experience, wherever you live

    • Maintain consistency with the same practitioner across sessions

We’ve found that many clients value the comfort of engaging from their own environment — often making it easier to focus and open up.

Fees & Rebates

  • Sessions cost between $270 and $318 upfront.

If you are eligible for a medicare rebate, you will reduce your session fee – the rebate to see a psychologist is currently $98.95 and to see a clinical psychologist is $145.25.

The out of pocket gap fee is approximately $170 per session.

  • You need to see your GP and ask for a mental health care plan. If you would like to see a GP online, you can do so fully bulk billed here.

Your GP can refer directly to us or you can send us your referral. Appointments must be paid 24 hours in advance, and rebates are processed during or after your appointment.

  • Yes, you can access therapy as a private client. Many people, especially professionals, use our service to access support without disruption to work or family duties. You only need a referral if you want to claim a rebate.

  • Yes, please check your eligibility with your insurance provider. We can provide an invoice which you can use if you are eligible.

  • We appreciate that life happens and sometimes you need to cancel, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible as the Psychologist will hold this time for you and prepare for your session.

You can cancel without penalty up to 48 hours before your scheduled session.

If you cancel within 24-48 hours our fee is 50% of the total session fee, and within 24 hours is the full session fee.

Please note that rebates cannot be processed unless you attend your appointment so the full fees are payable.
